Abstract submission

Abstracts for either oral or poster presentation are welcome. Abstracts (.doc or .docx) should be submitted via email by June 1st, 2021 to Maya.Stefanova@orgchm.bas.bg with CC to alex_zdravkov@mgu.bg

Guidelines for Abstract preparation

The Extended abstract should be written in English with a volume of up to 3 pages (including text, figures, tables and references) and page margins as follows: top and bottom – 20 mm, left and right – 20 mm.

Each abstract submission should include:

  1. Title - Title should be typed in normal letters, using Times New Roman, Bold, 14 pt font size, left alignment, normal style. Leave one blank line after the title.

  2. Author(s) name and affiliation(s) – First and Family name – Times New Roman 11 pt, Bold, left alignment. The presenting author must be listed as the first author and name should be underlined. Upper index should be added in case authors have different affiliations. Leave one blank line after the authors’ names and then write their affiliations (Times New Roman 11 pt, Italic), including the corresponding author’s contact information. Leave one blank line.

  3. Keywords - up to 5 keywords in Times New Roman, 10 pt, Italic, left alignment. Leave 2 blank lines.

  4. Abstract content – Times New Roman 11 pt, Line spacing 1.0.

  5. Figures or a collage of images – maximum height 9 cm, recommended width 11 cm. They should be sent separately from the Word file in *.tiff, *.jpg, *.bmp (texts to them should be written on a separate page after the main body and references/page 4th/) or *.cdr and *.eps (texts should be converted in curves). Resolution should be 300 dpi. Please specify the preferred place in the text where the figure/image should appear.

  6. References - Times New Roman, 10 pt, left alignment – Family name, First name (initial only), Year of publication, Title, Source. Subtitles are allowed - Times New Roman, 10 pt

  7. Please indicate preferred presentation format: oral presentation or poster presentation

Submission details

Files and figures should be named with the presenting author’s name only and the type of its content.
Abstracts, not prepared in accordance with the guidelines given above, will be sent back to the authors for revisions.
Each registered author is allowed to have a maximum of 2 presentations (oral or poster). Co-authorship, however, is not affected by this limit.
Authors of accepted oral and poster presentations will be notified via email by June 15th, 2021. Once an abstract has been accepted, the author (in the case of sole authorship) or at least one co-author (in the case of multiple authors) should register for the meeting for the abstract to be included in the program. Registration (including payment) must be submitted by June 20th, 2021 (Early Bird Registration deadline). Oral and poster presentations, which do not fulfill this requirement, will be withdrawn from the program.
Changes to abstracts will not be accepted after the submission deadline.
